Employer Incentive Programs

Workplace Training
WRCES administers Alberta Employment & Immigration’s Workplace Training program, which offers wage subsidies to local employers. We help match individuals to your industry and, in exchange for training employees to work in your business, you may qualify to receive subsidies to offset the costs of training. Contact us to find out more and to see if your business might qualify.

Summer Temporary Employment Program (STEP)
The STEP program encourages the hiring of students across Alberta during the months of May to August. Offering a wage subsidy in exchange for hiring youth, community-based, non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply.

Canada Summer Jobs
A Government of Canada initiative, the Canada Summer Jobs program is focused on encouraging non-profit organizations, public sector employers and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create jobs that not only meet their needs, but also benefit students looking to gain work experience.
